You and your assistants devise a plan for checking and organizing the interview data. On the same day the interview takes place, every interviewer makes sure that the tape is properly labeled and that the complete interview was recorded. Furthermore, each of you reviews his or her protocol notes and makes necessary clarifications and additions. Each of you puts the tape and completed protocol in a separate folder for each teacher, thereby indicating that the data collection and quality check are complete.
