Dear Mr. Teacher:

Several weeks ago you agreed to help us review a "Preview the Aquarium" curriculum packet developed by the Pacific Coast Aquarium. As a first step in this process, we would like to interview you about your reactions to this packet. Having a chance to gather in-depth information from you and other teachers will help us improve the packet, making it more useful for your students.

We would like to conduct the interview during the first two weeks of November. Within the next week, I will call you to schedule the interview at a time and school location that are convenient for you. Please plan for the interview to take one hour of your time. You will receive a $100 gift certificate for participating in the interview. Also, it is likely that you will be contacted later about using "Preview the Aquarium" with your students.

Thank you again for your willingness to work with us.

Sincerely,

Marvin Marlin
Director of Educational Outreach, Pacific Coast Aquarium
