Fifty-five teacher interns are
participating in a large school district's Math Mentoring Project
while they work toward obtaining a secondary math teaching credential.
At the beginning of the program, the interns agreed to give feedback
through a series of questionnaires and interviews. As an incentive,
they were promised a stipend of $100 and a summary of the evaluation
report. They were told that they would receive half their stipend
midway through the project and the other half at the end.
Halfway through the project, the evaluators administer a questionnaire
to the interns about their experience.
