logical flow.
Step 3: For individual items, select a consistent item
style and emphasize navigational cues.
Step 4: For the questionnaire as a whole, select a
presentation and graphic style that maximizes readability and
interest.
Step 5: Pilot-test the questionnaire and make needed
revisions.
This
module discusses these five steps for designing questionnaires.
However, keep in mind that there are no universally accepted rules.
When you have more than one possible solution, as in the case of
ordering questions (see Step 2), weigh
each one's merits and tradeoffs.
Draft the questionnaire and then use pilot testing to guide your
decisions.
