Project: Sisters in Science: Intergenerational Partnerships in Science, Engineering, and Mathematics Education

Purpose: To collect background demographic information and to assess the teacher's opinions concerning teaching and learning, student activities in the classroom, school principal's involvement, and parental involvement

Administered To: Participating teachers

  • Family Influences: activities, awareness, communication, engagement, expectations
  • Implementation Characteristics: administrative support, incentives, parent support, peer support
  • Instructional Practices: activities, assessment, collaboration, content, field, techniques, technology
  • Learning Environment: classroom organization
  • Background Characteristics & Activities (Teacher/Faculty): certification, credentials, education, experience, professional development activities
  • Demographics (Teacher/Faculty): ethnicity, gender

Format/Length: 57 closed-ended questions, 1 of which has room for comments, and 11 demographic questions
