Under-Represented
Populations Projects
This collection of NSF projects have components that focus
on increasing the access, retention, and preparation of under-represented
student populations in science, mathematics, engineering,
and technology. These projects may be implemented in all NSF-funded
disciplines, and focus on a variety of levels and aspects
of the education process (e.g., teacher training, student
mentoring, professor appointment criteria, curriculum development
and evaluation, science summer camp opportunities for middle
students).
