Purpose: To gather information on why some girls chose not to continue participating in the Eureka project

Administered To: Girls who had participated in the first year of the project but did not return for a second year

Topics Covered:

  • Course Evaluation: satisfaction
  • Impact on Outcomes: confidence, content, extracurricular activities, student performance, technology
  • Background Characteristics & Activities (Student): current coursework, purpose for participation

Format/Length: 7 questions, 1 closed- and 6 open-ended

Hi, my name is ------- and I am working with Girls Inc. to do an evaluation of the Eureka program. We are interested in talking with you because you did not continue in the program after the first year. We would like to ask your opinion of the program. Can we spend about 15 minutes talking now? (If yes, continue, if no, schedule a time)
