Step 1: Identify assumptions about change.
            Through
interviewing the Math World advocates at the district, reviewing
the intervention itself, and reviewing research literature, you
identify the underlying assumption about change. The assumption is
that students who are given frequent opportunities to solve complex,
open-ended math problems rooted in concepts they are learning will
              exhibit two effects:

              - Effect
A: increase their understanding of important content in the math
                curriculum.

              - Effect
B: improve their general skills at solving complex math problems
                and communicating well-reasoned, evidence-based solutions.

The evaluation goal is to see if the effects are achieved in the
              district.
