Teacher/Faculty Workshop Evaluations

Instrument 3: ACEPT Faculty Workshop Pre- and Post-Test Survey

Project: Arizona Collaborative for Excellence in the Preparation of Teachers (ACEPT)

Purpose: To gather feedback from participant on program implementation and the value of the workshop

Administered To: Faculty participating in the collaborative

Topics Covered:

  • Comparisons: project clarity
  • Impact on Outcomes: knowledge
  • Impact Variables: professional development activities
  • Implementation Activities: curriculum/materials use, increase awareness, professional development activities, target under-represented populations
  • Implementation Characteristics: awareness
  • Limitations & Barriers: implementation
  • Perceptions (Teacher/Faculty): implementation, methods
  • Plans & Expectations (Teacher/Faculty): continue project involvement, project implementation
  • Self-Assessment (Teacher/Faculty): implementation activities
  • Workshop Evaluation: areas for program improvement, effectiveness, exemplary areas, objectives, pace, satisfaction
  • Background Characteristics & Activities (Teacher/Faculty): current practice, project involvement, purpose for participation

Format/Length: 33 questions total, 14 open- and 19 closed-ended, plus 6 demographic questions. The pre-test has 6 open- and 11 closed-ended questions. The post-test has 8 open- and 8 closed-ended questions.
