Instrument 14: Material Science and Technology Workshop Week One Evaluation

Project: Materials Science and Technology Workshop

Purpose: To evaluate each participant's response to the first week of workshop activities

Administered To: Faculty who attended the first of several weeks of the materials science and technology workshop and who teach high school and undergraduate students

Topics Covered:

  • Impact on Outcomes: teacher understanding
  • Plans & Expectations (Teacher/Faculty): project implementation
  • Workshop Evaluation: importance, materials, organization, practical value, rigor, satisfaction
  • Background Characteristics & Activities (Teacher/Faculty): current practice
  • Demographics (Teacher/Faculty): age, gender

Format/Length: 13 questions, plus 4 demographic questions. This evaluation is a scannable answer sheet with 13 closed-ended 4-point Likert scale questions and 1 open-ended question.
