The trainees' knowledge of
their students' performances is likely to be high, but not high enough to
stand alone as the sole source of assessment information. Triangulation would
be in order, using corroborative measures such as:
- Examination of a sample of work from the trainees' students compared to
work from students they had prior to technology implementation
- Rescorings, by other instructors, of assessments adminstered by trainees
to students
The trainees' knowledge of their uses of technology is also likely to be high
because they were responsible for them. However, some low implementers may be
afraid to admit it, so the questions need to be cleverly designed to get the truth
from them. Triangulation would be in order, using corroborative measures such
as:
- Periodic observations of their classes
- Interviews with selected students
